google tells me Jefferson TX is 537 miles from Mercer as the crow flies, or 650 miles driving. google also says Jefferson TX is only 44 miles as the crow flies from Fouke, AK (Boggy Creek!) or 60 driving miles. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
