Jailhouse Pizza, Brandenburg, KY

When you arrive at the Bayou Cabins in Breaux Bridge, you'll feel at home right away.

There is a row of cabins that all have a unique character, right on Bayou Teche.
Some cabins are bigger than others. (This would be the ideal spot for a huge family reunion!)
After a long day of exploring, there's an awesome deck to hang out with your new friends staying at the cabins.
And when you wake up in the morning, there's a big cajun breakfast waiting for you, with fresh boudin, of course!
This honeymooner cabin with the wrap around porch.....
So what are you waiting for? Get to exploring this beautiful part of the state at the Bayou Cabins Bed and Breakfast in Breaux Bridge. You can even take a picture with this iconic crawfish statute...

Creed, Colorado

Johnny Depp shot scenes from The Lone Ranger here.

TURNER FALLS PARK at Davis, Oklahoma

you can swim under a 77' waterfall!

Brink of Lower Falls, Yellowstone.

Edward Wessel, 1891:"as beautiful a scene of rugged nature as is possible to behold anywhere."
Alfred Lambourne, 1884, : "one whose images would hold a place and whose influence would be felt through all the days remaining of my life."
On June 16, 2009, 20 yr old Nicholas Jeffrey Mostert descended the trail to the Brink of the Lower Falls, near Canyon Village...while other visitors watched, he climbed over the retaining fence and jumped into the river at its drop. He was immediately swept over the brink, falling more than 300' in the water of Lower Falls to the rocks and river below. His body was not immediately recovered.

if I only knew then what I know now....

I would've taken selfies in front of Mt Rushmore and with the Bigfoot crossing sign at Pike's Peak....if I ever get back South Dakota way.....BOOM! selfie time!

Cement is a small town a little south of Chickasha and it has a story to tell. It’s believed that there is still lost treasure hidden by Frank and Jesse James somewhere around the town. Pictured above is the museum which tells all about the story. The last time I was there, the police chief said you would have to go to the Post Office to ask for the key to get in the Museum. If you get there and no one is around, try that. Here is a link to an article about Jesse James and the lost treasure. http://ndepth.newsok.com/treasurehunters

Robbers Cave State Park

Robbers Cave is located near Wilburton, tucked into the San Bois Mountains in Southeastern part of Oklahoma. This park is named Robbers Cave due to its outlaw past with the likes of the James Gang, Belle Starr, and other famous outlaws who came to the area.
A trip to Robbers Cave will not be complete without climbing the rocks up to the cave that bears the parks name - Robbers Cave. The trails in the cave area are not very strenuous, and the views of the mountains from the top are well worth the effort.
Robbers cave is a horse riders paradise with lots of horse trails to explore, and an equestrian camp area devoted to them. We found the hayrides offered in the park to be awesome, they take you up to Buzzards Roost which can only be seen by riding the hayride to the top.
RV camping is very nice with several choice spots, we like "Old Circle Campground" sites #41, and #31 although most any site is nice. Tent areas are offered in several areas, Robbers Cave also has Cabins, and the Belle Starr Lodge. Note: we have had a hard time with cell phone service at this park, but they do have a pay phone.
Some RV sites may be reserved by calling the park office. or online GoCampOK.com
Our favorite activity in the park is the cave area hiking. Plan on spending an entire day in and around the rocks, this area is also a favorite area for rappelling.
Robbers Cave State Park Hiking Trails and Maps information can be found on Hiking Trails of the Ouachitas and Ozarks website.
Close by and well worth the drive is the Talimena Scenic Drive. Fall is one of the best times to visit and Maps are available.
