I love this kitchen island! It can be created from old windows and dresser drawers. It's a really great DIY project!

Magic Cleaner..
2 oz. Dawn,
4 oz. bottled Lemon Juice,
8 oz. White Vinegar,
10 oz. Water.
The secret is to spray on surface, let sit overnight (or longer) and then wipe with clean, wet cloths to remove residue. *In the oven, do NOT use heat, just spray, let sit, wipe clean. *For showers, just spray, rinse and if you like the shine, wipe with dry towels. *The secret on whatever you chose to clean is to let it sit, then rinse off the residue. Amazing stuff!

Old South Coca-Cola Pork Loin

1/4 cup soy sauce
1 cup Coca-Cola
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
3 tablespoons oil
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/3 cup ketchup
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon dry mustard
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon thyme, crushed
5 pounds pork loin roast, boned
Combine all the ingredients except for the meat, to form a marinade. Set the pork roast in a plastic bag with a zip-type seal, pour in the marinade and seal the bag. Set the plastic bag in a serving bowl large enough to steady the roast and keep the marinade ingredients from spreading away from the roast.
Let stand for 24 hours or overnight in the refrigerator, patting and turning the bag every few hours to ensure the meat marinates evenly. This helps the roast absorb the marinating liquids and creates a tender, juicy and flavorful roast.
Remove roast from marinade and discard the marinade. Place roast, fat side up, on rack in roasting pan. Insert roast meat thermometer so the bulb is centered in the thickest part. Do not add water. Do not cover. Roast in a slow 325 degree preheated oven until the thermometer registers to 175 degrees. Allow 30 to 40 minutes per pound for roasting, so for a 5 pound loin roast, you would be roasting for about 2-1/2 to 3 hours. During last 1/2 hour of cooking time, brush on the glaze. If you prefer, you can just as easily cook on the grill or in the smoker. Remove from the oven and out of the pan onto a platter; cover with foil tent to seal steam and rest the meat 15 minutes before slicing and this results in a much juicier roast. NOTE: Alternatively, you can slow-roast. Instead of roasting at 325, use a slow oven at 250 - 275 degrees, and allow almost twice as long. The meat will be even more tender. Use your meat thermometer or whatever means you like to achieve desired doneness.

white chocolate reeses fudge

White Chocolate Reeses Fudge
Ingredients
1 bag White Chocolate Reeses
1 cup sugar
½ cup heavy cream
½ tsp. salt
½ cup butter
2½ cups white chocolate chips
1 tub marshmallow fluff
Instructions
/
We started by peeling off all the White Chocolate Reeses wrappers and cutting them in fours. Then we put parchment paper on the 9x9 pan. This keeps the fudge from sticking to the pan.
Put the white chocolate chips and marshmallow fluff in a big bowl. Set aside.
In a pan melt the sugar, heavy cream, salt and butter on medium heat until it starts to boil. Cook for 5 minutes.
Pour the hot stuff into the bowl of chocolate chips and mix with the blender until it's smooth and soft.
Mix (fold) in half the White Chocolate Reeses. Pour into your pan.
Sprinkle the rest of the Reeses on the top. Put in the fridge for 3-5 hours to let it set. Hope you like it!

how to make foaming soap!

This is a very simple idea, but it’s a great frugal idea. I’ve been doing this for a couple of years now, and love how easily I can save pennies with this tip. It’s a good reminder that saving money doesn’t have to be complicated. It’s very simple tip that I’m sharing today – make your own foaming soap.
The first thing you will need to do is buy an actual container of foaming hand soap at the store. The reason for this is simple. The pump on foaming soap is different than the pump on regular soap. This tip won’t work with a regular bottle of hand soap. A lot of Bath and Body Works soaps have a foaming lid, so maybe you already have one of those around the house. If so, you are ready to go!
When your soap is empty, rinse out the bottle with water. You’re going to put soap back into the bottle so don’t worry about scrubbing it out. Then, take a bottle of regular soap. Pour enough into your empty bottle to cover the bottom of the bottle. There isn’t an exact science to this, depending on the height and width of your bottle. The more you do this, the easier it will be to figure out how much soap to put into your bottle. I put about a quarter to a half inch of soap in a bottle this size.
Now, fill the rest of the bottle with water from your sink. Stop when you are about an inch from the top of the bottle. The reason for this, as you will see, is that foaming pumps take up more space than a regular pump. You don’t want to overflow your bottle! Now, screw the lid pump back on to your bottle. Carefully cover up the spout of the soap with your thumb and shake your soap.
Ta-da! You’re all done! You have a brand new bottle of foaming hand soap. Using this technique, you can make a regular bottle of soap last for months. It cleans your hands just as well, I promise. In fact, I think foaming soap is easier for children to use because they see the soap on their hands. Instead of buying new expensive bottles of foaming soap, you can use a bottle of your favorite regular soap and stretch it to last. Go ahead. Try it. Let me know what you think! 1
